However, the automatic download could be problematic in case of poor signal
coverage. That was the reason why I declared the StartNumber as a primary
criteria for result data matching. A new person gets a start number in
the EC, it is added to TOP or another system and the competitor uses this
start number at timed stations - just shows or tells it to the marshal,
who only enters the number, nothing more. And the person is paired in the
system automatically with the uploaded data. It is much more error-proof
system, IMHO

This question is more about TOP - ANT simply reads data from chip and sends
it. If it is unmatched in TOP, the file is still stored there, you can reset
the competitor information (start and/or chip number) in the DB and then
reupload the particular ANT file from the ANT Import tab of the Race page.
If the result file was already incorrectly matched to another competitor,
you must first remove the results of the other person (tab Entries). I did
it on Sunday a few times at the WRE in Poland. It's also pretty easy.
